In the center of the Winelands, 30 Minutes from Cape Town or 35
from Simon's Town (along the R310), Stellenbosch, established
in 1679 is the second oldest town in the country.
It is famous for its old architecture, peaceful atmosphere, excuisite
wines and beautiful nature.
There are several museums and historic buildings.
Oak lined streets, elegant restaurants and majestic churches make
Stellenbosch a great place to visit and stroll around.

stores. The store is crammed full of traditional bric a brac,
curios and historic collectables. Don't miss it, even if you only
browse through on your way to the tea garden at the back.
Behind the Information centre in Market Street
is the unique Toy and Miniature museum.
