Step into Simon's Town

Dating back to the middle 1700's and then called Simon's Bay, the town reflects it's naval history in many ways. The dockyards being the most obvious.

Simon's Town also has four Museums:

  • Town Museum,
  • SA Naval Museum
  • Warrior Toy Museum'
  • Stempastorie - Emblem Museum

A dozen restaurants grace the town and the mecca of deep sea fishermen can be reached by talking to the Yacht Club Commodore.

You could also hire a yacht for a sail around False Bay.

Visitors are welcome at the town's Country Club for Golf, Bowls or Squash.
