Boulders Beach & the Jackass Penguins

Boulders Beach has been synonymous with Jackass Penguins since the re-establishment of a breeding colony.
This is the only place in the world where you can swim with the Penguins any time.

The sheltered beach at boulders has been a favourite with Capetonians for many years. The warm Indian Ocean's last brush with the coast keeps the water at a comfortable temperature and the offshore shelf keeps the waves comfortably small and wind to a minimum. Great for the whole family.
