Location
Close to Cape town and the sounds of the city yet far enough away
to get that country feeling.
Situated on the majestic Cape Peninsula in the Western Cape, South
Africa, the resort overlooks False Bay onto the Mountains beyond.
Oatlands is situated in Simon's Town, famous for its history, naval
tradition, sandy bathing coves and unique Jackass penguin colony.
Oatlands is within easy reach of most attractions of the Western
Cape, including of course, the famous Wine Routes.
Locally it's within minutes reach of beaches, mountain walks, fishing
points, restaurants, supermarkets, bottle stores, garages, churches,
doctors and all other essential services.
How to get there
From the airport, visitors should take the N2 towards Cape Town.
Turn left onto the M3 towards Muizenberg. From Muizenberg follow
the coast road to Simon's Town. Oatlands is approximately 3 kilometers
past Simon's Town going towards Cape Point in the district of Froggy
Pond.
Visitors driving from the Garden Route will probably approach Cape
Town over Sir Lowries Pass. Stay on the freeway until you can turn
south (left ) onto the R310. Follow this road until you pass through
Muizenberg and proceed as above.
